Learnings from Larry King Interview

Through the interview of Larry King given to Cenk Uygar , we come to know about his style of taking interviews and why he is known as the legend of interviewing people. The first thing which he pays attention to while taking interview isbto ask short and simple questions, which are also logical. For example- if he is taking the interview of a Doctor, he would be interested to ask questions like ‘ What do you feel during a war scenario?’. This means that he asks those questions which are related to the profession of the person who is being interviewed. Along with this, he listens to what the other person is saying, and then he prepares the next question in his mind. The other quality of his interviewing style is caring about the feeling of others. He make the person being interviewed feel comfortable and relaxed, so that the interview can be conducted smoothly. Thus, we can see that asking simple and logical questions and making the other person comfortable is the key to take a good interview.
